BMW 1 Series

I cannot sing the praises of the gentlemen that own and run this company high enough!
The treatment and service that I received was nothing less than first class. I have never been treated so well by anyone that I have bought a car from, whether privately or from a trade seller.
The car is a 2011 BMW 1 Series MSport-2.0ltr Diesel on a 2011 plate, and I purchased the car in August 2026, so the car is getting on for Sixteen years old.
The mileage was an eye popping 11,100 miles.
The car was for sale at a price of £9,990.

I immediately thought, that can't be right, as other 1 Series MSport BMW's of around the same age, but with three, four and even five times the mileage were the same price or up to £15,000.
I, of course rang immediately to see if the car was for sale, and ask questions about the condition and service history.
I was informed by one of the owners of the company, Mohammed, that the condition of the car was very good, and that the advert was correct, and that the service history was outstanding.
He informed me that the car had been pampered by the former owners. A mother and son.
I live in Scotland, and the car was in Sandy, Bedford.
That was not going to put me off for a minute!
So, I swiftly paid the required deposit, and began making travel plans to head down South.
I was considering getting coaches and trains and booking a hotel for an overnight, until I spoke with the other owner of the business, Eesaa.
He wisely advised me to arrange a flight, which I did.
This saved me around 12 hours travelling time and was no more expensive than by coach and train.
The issue I then had was getting from Luton Airport to Sandy in Bedford - A taxi ride of around 45mins.
Eesaa already had that covered.
He told me that he would arrange for a car to pick me up from the airport, as he would not have me wearing the cost of a hefty taxi fare.
When I arrived at the airport, so did my lift. (courtesy of Eesaa and Mohammed's Dad. A lovely man who made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived)
That is a service that I did not expect, and came as a huge surprise...What courtesy! What service!
It doesn't end there.
When Eesaa an I were speaking on the phone prior to me travelling, he insisted on feeding me when I arrived!
(I kid you not)
There was all manner of lovely food arranged when I arrived at The Ideal Motor premises.
I had a look over the car (which, incidentally, I had paid in full without actually seeing it 'in the flesh').
It was in spanking condition, and I was, and still am, stunned that I got a car that I have liked since they came out, in such amazing condition and mileage.
I then got to eat lots of lovely food in the company of Mohammed, as Eesaa had some business to attend to.
Mohammed was great company, and arranged all the paperwork, and the service history during our meal.
It was a joy and a treat!
Eesaa reappeared and insisted on putting half a tank of fuel in the tank of the car, as a goodwill gesture!
(Once again, I kid you not)
Once I was ready to begin my journey back home, I was wished a safe journey, and was told that if I had any issues with the car, to contact either Eesaa or Mohammed immediately, even though they had supplied me with a Platinum 3 month warranty.
Were they as good as their word?
Of course they were!
I had a few minor issues by the time I had driven the 400 miles home.
1/ The Washer pump gave up the ghost and a new one had to be fitted. Cost fitted £108.00
2/ Windscreen Wipers neede replacing.
Cost £28.00
3/ The windscreen cracked around 5 days after purchase of the car (a complete mystery). I got it replaced, but had to pay the excess. Cost £125.00
4/ One of the key fobs requies a new battery and case.
Cost £50.00.

A total outlay to me of £311.00.
Unbelievably, The Ideal Motor Ltd paib for the Washer pump plus fitting, The windscreen wipers, £50.00 towards the windscreen excess, even though neither myself or Eesaa could ever say it was sold with a cracked windscreen...because it was not!
Nevertheless, Eesaa insisted on making a contribution towards it.
What a gentleman.
And, finally, £25.00 towards the cost of sprucing up the second remote key fob.
I was refunded a total of £221.00 by The Ideal Motor Ltd.
I have paid £90.00 after purchase for bits and bobs.
I have got, as far as I'm concerned, an absolute humdinger of a car. Purchased from Eesaa and Mohammed at The Ideal Motor Bedford Ltd.
I have been treated like royalty by these brothers and their Dad.
My only complaint is that I can only give them 5 Stars, they really do deserve more for the fantastic way they have looked after me.
I sincerely wish them health, happiness and every success in their business.

First Class, guys...First Class!!!
